The house was build at the turn of the last century, in 1895.

The house reached fame through its prominent inhabitant, the world famous actess of silent movies: Asta Nielsen who lived here throughout the years 1931 and 1937.

Many original features are still to be seen including decoratively covered ceilings and detailed art nouveau windows.
